My wife, Cheryl Grasby has written a little informational booklet for
the benefit of people directly involved with living with a hearing
loss. Please check it out and let her know what you think about it.

What Cheryl tries to explain in this book is what it’s like to “hear
quietly”. This involves passing on knowledge about the hearing aids
themselves but also includes the day-to-day actions and issues
involved
with living with hearing loss. Learning to adapt to a foreign object
in your ear and adjusting to new sounds are both issues which need to
be addressed daily. The support from your family and friends can also
have
an amazing positive impact on how well you accept and adapt. There is
a lot more to comprehend then just putting sound in your ear.

She is hoping that by writing this and sharing her perspective on what
“Hearing Quietly” is all about that it will help others directly
involved with a hearing loss or those experiencing it for the first
time.

The Informational Booklet, "Hearing Quietly", was printed to be
distributed free of charge by authorized distributors. If you wish to
have a copy sent to you, contact Cheryl at theemail address
cheryl...@sympatico.ca. Otherwise, feel free to look at the
online copy or download a full copy of the book in PDF format by

I never heard of the Sennheiser 820S TV Listening Device but I ordered
one and it works wonderfully well. Thanks.
