If there are others comparable devices to these, post them here, maybe I’ll give them a try next time I have money burning a holde in my pocket. Executive summary, The HATIS work very well, the music links are OK,... more »

OT Killing meese
After posting info to another OT about killing and dismantling meese (I'm on the other side of the Earth and this seems the right plural), I have been thinking about the way that the Alaskan Government recommends that meese be killed. They weigh about half a ton and their hearts must be enormous. Yet the recommended killing method is a 'lung... more »

Please check it out and let her know what you think about it. What Cheryl tries to explain in this book is what it’s like to “hear quietly”. There appears to be absolutely no information on the web about these aids and Interton's web site did not help. Does anyone have any experience with these aids? If so, what did you... more »

OT AIG Bailout
Hi Everyone, I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG. These People put us in this position in the 1st place because of there Greed Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve It Dividend. To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide U.S. Citizens 18+.... more »

Bluetooth Headphones and TV sets
Why don't they manufacture what we really need? A set of bluetooth headphones and TV sets that transmit the sound directly to them. Maybe they already make those TV sets and I am unaware of it. Yes? How about the (dual)headphones? (They seem to make plenty of the headsets for ONE ear). Don

Audiologist recommends Cochlear Implant
I turned in my Phonak's today a week before the trial period ends. They amplify everything fine, but speech sounds so brassy I can not understand the words. She recommends a cochlear implant.
