Hi all,
We had our family Christmas get together on the 17th. to combine the
Christmas celebration and my little sister's grand daughter's 2nd
birthday party. This is the first one of these get togethers I've been
able to enjoy completely migraine free in over 20 years. It was a
great time.

I have no idea what made the difference, so I'll just say I got lucky
this year.

Me too, beat's the heck out of dreading those get-togethers, and there
is nobody in my family that I don't want to see. I wish I knew what
made the difference this year so as to make it easier to do a repeat.

Hopefully, it's due to the overall reduction in your headaches after dealing with those pinched nerve problems. (Then it will be as simple as continuing with that neck stretching that you have been doing.)

It also helps that the whole family reads labels for MSG in all its
known forms.
But they have been doing that for years.
Well I have to say the subject was a bit misleading ;-)
I am so happy for you. Christmas is so stressful for many reasons, and often the loving people doesn't have so much to do with it. I always worry I will be the one who puts the damper on the holidays.
We just had our annual "friends" dinner here last night and I was very stressed earlier in the week with work, so I worried quite a bit I would get hit. Thankfully, I just got hit with being exhausted today and that's a lot better than a migraine during dinner!

Much better than a migraine anytime.
For our family the migraines are pretty much something that only one
of my sisters can ignore, so far neither of her kids have shown any
sign of them,my brother doesn't get them himself, but his wife and son
do, Mom get's them on occasion and my little sister, her daughter and
I have very bad cases. So to have a family get together where no one
is suffering from one is very rare, no matter how close we read
labels.
Thankfully the smell of coffee brewing is not a trigger for any of us.
