I have seen very little discussion of Bush's plans to fund social
benefit/religious out-reach programs. And I have a few questions
about them.
1) Does anyone have access to the list of attendees (and
their affiliations) of his recent meeting with representatives of
various faiths?
2) Did he mention how he plans for the federal government to
have oversight and accounting on how the funds are spent?
3) Can we really expect a saved Christian to help a drug
addict, derelict or criminal without witnessing about Jesus?
(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
4) Will churches invest federal money in building prisons
and then contract out their rehabilitation services to federal,
state and local governments?
Any help with these questions will be appreciated.
