Hi, my name is Michelle. Or Shelle if you prefer.
I tried to start a new account but it appears my computer already has
one here.
I'm interested in getting to know folk -- It looks like a friendly
board with lots of folks in pain.
I am glad to listen if it's okay that I really don't have experience
with trauma. My worst experiences as a child were petty little
annoyances, nothing compared to the terrible things I see others have
endured.
If you'd like me to stay out of this group, I'll understand. These are
sensitive things to discuss, particularly with near strangers.
Hope to get to know you all.
:)

Hi, Michelle.
In general, the more the merrier.
Welcome aboard.

I'm interested to get to know soemone in your systems that seems to only
have good memories. Hadn't met one before, just ones that pretended the
bad ones weren't real. You personally may be a near-stranger but you're
from systems of people the group knows. Since I haven't seen you at alll
before, curious how you didn't realise there are others in that body,
since you would be losing a *lot* of time to others in control.

Hmm. The way it works for me is that I have a life of my own and a story
of my own, and it doesn't relate to those things.
I have my own time and my own reality, and within those, I don't feel
like I lose any time at all.
I have a whole life and such that I live.
It doesn't involve anything at all about other people or systems inside
like you suggest.
I'm not sure if that helps clarify. I would like to say that I intend no
confusion or dishonesty. Who I am is just a little hard to explain. How
I work is maybe different than one would suspect.
Thanks for your time and for listening - I can probably get long-winded
at times!

See, now that seems entirely strange, because you're pretty definitely
posting from the body of someone multiple. Some serious stitching of
time going on if you don't notice missing anything. Look at clocks or
calendars much? EB is a huge and complicated system, with a lot of parts
that are cut off from contact with anyone else inside. Curious, what
goes on in your whole life? Job? School?

Oh, and sorry for kind of completely disregarding what you say is true
>_< It's rather rude of me, but you *are* posting from EB, and EB *is*
many. So I'm less than inclined to believe that you're alone in a body -
and there are a lot in EB who have realities that are disparate from
what's outside. Forgive me my skepticism? :P

I ramble hugely, so I'm not going to complain about someone else being
longwinded :P

Hi! *waves*
You have an interesting name. Is it playful or do you often feel
confuzzled?

Hi Jeanette! How did your research go?

Hello betsy, and am glad to know you and others have found this to be
a safe place.
What brought me here, you ask....Hmm. It seems I just happened upon
the forum. Most strangely, there was already a user name on the
computer that shows up when I post, and I'm not really affiliated with
that name so ought to stop using it. I'm not sure how to change the
name my posts are attributed to, though. My apologies go out to EB/eb/
emerging butterfly, whose name I have posted under without meaning to.

See, I must see about that! It seems that my posts do show up under
another name, and it does seem hugely disrespectful to whomever EB is
that I should post under her name. A computer glitch perhaps? I wish I
was much more technical, and again, my apologies to EB and to anyone
else I have confused. Argh -- and this post is under her name too. I
need to fix that.

Some serious stitching of

Clocks and calendars? I try not to let my life be run by them too
much.

EBis a huge and complicated system, with a lot of parts

That sounds enormously difficult, and to pretend I understand would be
condescending. I am happy to hear from EB though, should she wish to
speak with me. I am sorry to be using her name.

Curious, what

A bit of both.

Well, it's quite rude of me to post under her name. No wonder you're
confused!

So I'm less than inclined to believe that you're alone in a body -

Of course! I'm sure this is hard to understand, and anything I can do,
like changing my username, might help.

Heh. Sounds like a deal! :)
