Hiding in my photography.
Have almost caught up on my developing.
Will have to go on a shoot soon.
Not many words, but hear. Hear each of you. Hold each in my heart until
you can hold yourselves.

hi
at least is 'expected' now, not a surprise

yes, is welcome respite. is also a little weird to me that i enjoy the
developing as much as the shooting. couldn't deal with the chemicals,
but can still have the control of a darkroom.

need to figure out someplace new, or maybe a different time of day.
perhaps i can do a fog shoot, as we've started having a bit of that. or
maybe another really early morning, with dew on everything.

hi back and you're welcome
last year a friend said something like... oh can't remember exactly but
sort of got the sense he was saying we were expecting it to be bad and
so we were making this time of year bad. maybe we do that?
but seems like when we weren't expecting then when the crash would come
was worse
meh. not sure we making any sense any more. sorry

sorry for hiding, but reckon that photography is a pretty good thing
to hide in
can think of lots of worse places to hide
we like photography
but not outside when it is cold and have to take gloves off and
frustrating because *want to* the scenery is *so* *crisp* and *clear*
don't have to worry much about that these days, here in the part of
central california where we live its rarely colder than 40 F (4 C)

sounds interesting
we haven't gotten many good fog shots
do you use a tripod?
well, i do spoil myself sometimes. figured i deserved to have a nice
camera as a graduation present. good news for you though. i couldn't
tell by looking at your pictures that you don't have a fancy camera.

me either. last year was a bad fog year, as in not much fog.
> do you use a tripod?
yeah, especially when shooting at night. need a better tripod tho, mine
is a cheap thing, and i worry my camera is in danger when i use it.

our tripod broke. we got a monopod now. undecided about the monopod
took me a long time to know that, and you're welcome

monopod doesn't work so well for long exposure shots, but i like mine
for making my daytime shots steadier.
yes
except I tend to not want to schlep it around. I do a lot of finding
things in the environment and using them. And I'd like to get a small
bean bag. Because you can set that down and then put the camera on it
... hmm... I'm talking like I actually take pictures
