couldn't you take baby and you to go have coffee?
you not broken and sick, just need a bit of, ok then, a lot of tlc.
hi
i not feel normal either when i realize can't commit to small things
cuz don't know where i'll be at at the time i made the commitment.-
things can change so fast.
i don't know.
if you're sick, i'm sick too.
and i don't wanna be sick.
do you?
i want it to just stop and to just be normal.
sorry i'm not much help.
We don't drink coffee and we don't know what they talk about there. We
didn't even know people went places to sit and talk. They all look like
friends. We don't want to disrupt their good thing. Thought in
restaurants and drink places you supposed to get a drink and leave.
Wouldn't it be too crowded if everyone just stayed while they drank
coffee?

We got fired from agency thrpst for that.

kids?

yeah
Feels like no hope. Feels like waste to even try anymore.
--
-ubiquity
nope
not waste
t wouldn't have decided to work with you if waste
Guess so. Maybe she doesn't know though. Don't want to waste her time.
She could help someone who needs it more.
--
-ubiquity
she knows
she's got enough years of experience to know
but we really aren't worth it. We really aren't. We should really be
d*ad. Can't even function outside the apartment. We almost got h*t by a
car who didn't see us crossing at the crosswalk and someone grabbed our
backside last night, and we freaked out.
--
-ubiquity
think it's perfectly reasonable to be freaked out by someone grabbing
your backside! that's s*xual ass*ult!
Don't think he wanted to h*rt us. We made a too big deal when we
screamed and ran, and now we're embarassed to go to 7-11. We should shut
up and be quiet.

It is perfectly reasonable to make a big deal out of someone assaulting you.

That only makes it easier for people like that to prey on people, if
thtey know they won't get in trouble.
T said we ok. T said we did ok.
--
-ubiquity
doesn't mean you not worth it
and gotta keep trying for slunkette and baby
She's right.
They deserve better then a broken parent.
--
-ubiquity
but we're embarassed about it.
--
-ubiquity
You're their p*rent for better or for worse and they l*ve you. Think
you're a good d*d despite whatever. And without you they'd only have
your wife, and she doesn't sound like she pays attention to them much.
That's okay too. Embarrassed doesn't mean it was a big wrong thing.
then you can work on getting fixed
they want *you*
not just any daddy
baby was crying for you the other day, remember?
maybe they were trying to pick your pocket or something
Maybe she would step up then?
--
-ubiquity
Yeah, and he did give us a big hug when he was tired and slept for four
hours in our arms today.
--
-ubiquity
Hope so. :(
--
-ubiquity
Doesn't sound like it to us. And it wouldn't be very fair to them.
yup
he needs *you*

we usually get tea but can get a bottle of water - expensive i know
but if the place had newspapers or magazines you can sit and read one
of those. we go all the tinme on our own. like to people watch
everyone else
>and we don't know what they talk about there. We
> didn't even know people went places to sit and talk. They all look like

doubt you would really, if you just sat there drinking and reading.
people tend to politely ignore you in a kind of ok way we find. a
smile and a nod to say 'hi' and then leave you to it.
>Thought in
> restaurants and drink places you supposed to get a drink and leave.
> Wouldn't it be too crowded if everyone just stayed while they drank

nah, people have a rest in-between shopping, or waiting to meet up
with friends, or to chat while maybe their kids are in playgroup, or,
if it's me in the coffee shop, then i'd be collecting my thoughts
after wandering around for a bit. if i don't want to go back to the
flat i find somewhere to have a cup of tea cos its warm and you can
*always* get someone to smile at (it cheers us up, getting a smile out
of someone - epesially people who look grumpy or stressed)
lots of people just read the paper or do some emails or something,
apart from that, i don't know what they do, because we're usually too
bust playing with the sugar bowl and folding the paper napkins into
origami animals.

means you can't justify an escape easily
I sit in coffee drink places a lot. We live much too far from school
to be going back home after I drop the kids off. So, if I don't have
a client I often sit outside and read or sit inside with a coffee
drink and read or work on my laptop. Today I sat in a place with some
fruit I brought from home, a coffee drink and my laptop and got lots
of work done :) I said 'hi' to a little kid and chatted with her
parents for a minute or two and that was that.
