From the h*sp*t*l. normal one, not psych.

I went outside to get the mail and apparently the asphalt driveway was REALLY hot?! I burned the skin off the balls of my feet. second degree burns. went into shock in the ER waiting room and got triaged in and IV fluids and things cause my blood pressure went down to 64/44. scary.

My feet hurt. I'm not going to be able to walk for a while.

Ow.

Ow is right! Sheesh if you want to walk on a driveway come here and
walk on mine. We have about 6 inches of snow on it (after plowing) and
more is falling as I type. I am SURE you would not burn your feet here
at the moment.

Going into shock is not fun :P

If there was snow I'd've at least been smart enough to put shoes on! >_<

It was only 83 outside. I'm so confused by the fact that they burned so badly.

(And no, shock is not fun. I nearly blacked out and was all dizzy and sick and awful feeling.)

You'd think and yet... my kids regularly go outside in the snow in
socks :P
