Us and slunkette got really sick really quick today. Maintenance came to
change the filter on the furnace and caused carbon monoxide to leak. We
got sick and called poison control, and they said to leave and go to
the ER, so we did. The poison control operator notified the hsptl that
we were on our way. Called t hysterical that we couldn't find two
matching socks for baby. Couldn't think at all.

They put oxygen masks on all of us. Baby didn't like it at all. We ok
now though. Just feeling a little sick. When we called t she told us
what to say if they asked about our c*ts. (we've covered between our
neck and waist with small c*ts from sunday) Helped because they seemed
concerned about it.

Now we are home. The gas company came and fixed it. Think we'll probably
sleep some tonight.

Yeah, but it's ok now, and they found a potential problem when they came
in with the sensor and maintenance will fix it tomorrow. The igniter in
the oven is going out, and it would happen again except natural gas this
time. So stressful.

Yeah, our t said she was worried if they saw our arms they'd hsptlize us
right then. We lucked out. That was her big concern. She said we did
good. She just called us back.

just saw this for some reason. very scary thing. very glad you got
safe. i think the CO detector alarm things should be required in all
homes and apts. that have any gas coming into the building. and maybe
oil? i don't know that kind of stuff very well.

hope today you are both feeling better.

The f*re dept just got a $5,000 grant to buy CO sensors to provide to
low income families this month.
