Slunkette is sick. She spent the night at her gr*ndma's two nights ago,
and that's when she started to get sick. We rode out to pick her up, and
then rode back. Is a couple blocks to walk in the snow and cold, so she
was pretty upset and shaky when we made it home. Plus, she had a bl**dy
nose. (She's starting to get them when stressed, it seems.) So we got
her home, spent most of an hour getting her calm and comfortable. Made
her a nice warm spot on the couch lots of blankies and afgans and such.
Made her some hot cocoa. Cooked some toast. Put on something she wanted
to watch.
Then, had to use the bathroom since the ride home, so did that. Came
back out, and wife, who had ignored it all had taken the seat we settled
in for ourselves to sit by slunkette. Really upset us. Decided since
slunkette didn't like the flavor of children's tylenol we had, we walked
to the 24-hour pharmacy to buy her cherry kind. Was a big blizzard by
then. Very cold. Had to walk squinting or eyes fully closed because the
snow h*rt. Was 10pm then too, so real cold. Bought it, came home, wife
was again at the computer. Sat with slunkette cheering her to drink the
tylenol so she'd feel better. She ralphed on us shortly after. Guess
cherry flavor didn't help. :/ Wife wouldn't help. She said she had done
enough to sit by slunkette earlier. So we had to clean up all the
v*mit, which in turn was very triggering and nausiating too. Eventually
got everything all taken care of. Sat on the floor all night so
slunkette could have the whole couch to rest on. (Is warmer than her
room)
Not doing so well, but still taking care of f*mily here. Hope everyone
else is getting by at least.

Thank you. Try to be. Nervous. T e-mailed after we asked something in an
e-mail. She said she'd rather not e-mail or phone about it and asked if
we could talk about it on friday "to be safe". Tried to find the e-mail,
thought it got saved, but it's not there anymore.
We hoping baby doesn't get sick either. Trying real hard to keep
everything clean and sanitized. Slunkette is real good at washing hands
and cleaning up and such. We will rent a rugdoctor when she is feeling
well and clean the part of the couch that can't be taken off and put in
the washing machine.

Hope so. She forgot we were going to talk about something last friday.
She e-mailed later that night saying she remembered while she drove
home. Is ok though. Not in a rush.

Is mostly clean. Slunkette is feeling better too. Still going to
periodically check her temperature throughout the night. (We have
infrared thermometer. Don't even have to wake her. Bought it when baby
was so sick when he was newborn.)
