i think i prefer to identify as a multiversian instead of a multiple.

multiversian? as in... many versions of you?

many versions. many universes. interpolation of the many worlds theory
in quantum mechanics.
it feels more orderly to consider my thought processes as multiverse.
incorporating possibilities beyond a dx.

mostly being fanciful but do like the concept. has resonance.

i like this idea. i have used a similar one with my therapist
sometimes - that sometimes I feel like Shroedinger's cat - in a state
of quantum indeterminacy until she forces me to be in a definite state
by asking me a question and thus observing me (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shroedinger%27s_Cat ). I don't know if i
mean anything by this.

just saw this. yes. i like it. find shroedinger's cat fascinating, tho
initially it was a bit triggery. the concept. now i like to reread (at
wikipedia) it and i feel a bit floaty at it all.

and my t once told me, after i said i had no interest in physics, that
physics is all around me. now i think it's all thru me as well. :-)

It crossed my mind that it would be a bit triggery but I assumed that
someone familar with the many-worlds interpretation of quantum
mechanics was already familar with schroedinger's cat. In my case what
resonates isn't the idea of being neither alive nor dead until
observed so much as being in no definite state until observed.

p.s.: here is a less triggery link involving cats:

oh, i didn't mean you had sent me to something that triggered. had
already read wiki site and some others. was familiar tho we are
relatively bumpkins about most science, except biology. in skool my
chemistry teacher passed me cause as he said, "it's clear you tried
very hard and just didn't understand the material." he was being
kind.

in my old age (when i'm not being tested) i am finding the quantum
mechanics stuff very fascinating. if you have any suggestions for
books that are written for 'lay ppl' i would appreciate it.

yes, it reminds me of the philosophical question about the tree
falling in the forest. what makes existence (and all perceptions about
what it means) true?

this was the mean kitty song. i only remotely made a connection. is it
the one you meant to send? keep in mind i'm easily perplexed.

that was the correct link - meant merely to be a humorous link
invovling cats to compensate for triggering link involving a possibly
dead cat

oh. got it. was funny. smudge kitten is a bit like that, tho not a
biter. but he shoots around the apt. like he's jet propelled. he is an
acrobat.

thanks.

oh! the bit about being in no definite state until observed, is
something that we can relate too. not really sure why. isn't how we feel
now but something identifies with that.
