Closing eyes makes us dizzy after a minute or two. Been trying to rest.
A friend called.

We never stayed home from school. We went everyday even when sick.

Think our t was busy too. She said she was. She said it wasn't a trick
or a test that she didn't call us back or answer e-mails yesterday or
saturday. She said she was very busy.

Yeah, I remember staying home when I had chicken pox. I think it was
a requirement or something. I don't remember really staying home other
than that. I try to balance a kid's natural attempt to stay home and
loaf with actual illness so that I can teach my kids when they should
listen to their bodies and when they should put their minds on other
things and get busy rather than sit around and think about if they
might be sick or not. Given that I never learned this as a child, it
is tough to teach.

Understand that. We are trying to do that too. Already told slunkette
it's up to her in the morning if she wants to go tomorrow or not since
we were at the ER today. Think she'll be ok though.

we don't seem to have much to say lately

cat is curled up in lap sleeping

hip hurts, shoulder hurts. joints all get worse when it gets cold.

thinking about buying henna and doing that on hair. always wanted red
hair. and fiance thinks should do red hair again, so. also trying to
grow bangs out. they about two inches past chin. just long enough to
cactch into braid, but still short enough that they work out of braid
and look dumb. sigh. and they're like two feet shorter than rest of
hair, so not really sure how welll the growing out thing is going to work.

all our deodorant is expired. why is all of it ALWAYS expired? swear I
only bought this rollon earlier this year but it's been expired for
months. And stick one has been expired for over a year and is turning
into a rock. found a bunch of expired ones a while ago and threw them
out. one that was a few years expired had turned pink. was very strange.
another had expanded and pushed the lid off! another one that I know
we'd had since fifth grade - so nearly ten years - stank like rubbing
alcohol. that was weird too.

prolly will eventually have to get haircuts to even it out or make it
look better. could do that in stages.

Went to the mall so slunkette could see S*nt*. They wouldn't let her
talk to him unless we bought photos. Spent $15 for the smallest costing
package, Two wallet size and a 5x7. Photos were very poor quality too,
and not even kodak or polaroid photo paper, so they won't last. Oh well.

Wasn't much we could do. Only place we knew of with a S*nt* with a real
beard. We have a slight phobia of men in fake beards or m*sks. Things
like that. Think that can be understood here. :( Anyways, he had a very
thick irish accent. There was also a man outside playing bagpipes which
dr*wned out all the other buskers. Gave him two dollar coins. Afterwards
went to the arcade there and other than two other kids, we were the only
kids there. Spent four dollars there. Then rode the lightrail train for
a bit while they slept. Now we are home.

> Does the baby like going out?

Yeah, he always does. Soon as we unfold the stroller, he starts cheering
and clapping because he knows we're going somewhere.

what a good idea. we can let bangs grow or maybe cut different. been

only need 2 hands.

instead of dividing into 3 sections, just pick up a section on one side
near the top and separate it from the rest of the hair. then pick up a
similar section from the other side and grab it with other fingers on
the hand holding the first section. with the free hand, grab a section
from the middle (below the other two you're already holding).

then for the braiding, you drop the piece you would twist around, and
grab it up with some additional hair (we use the thumb to section out
more hair to add to the piece dropped). so it's really: twist, drop,
grab with more until you end up doing a regular braid at the end.

ok, it's hard to describe with words. sorry.
