boots cat is not ok. been to vet. tests done. talked to vet today.
probably we have to say goodbye soon. don't want to. 15 years we live
with him. we know him. he knows us. he owns us. we like that. hurts
too much already. trying some things from vet to see if it helps, even
a little. he doesn't eat. but vet thinks isn't too good a chance cause
is not about meds. but maybe if he eats he will be here longer.

is bad times anyway so we really sloppy on being here. sorry. maybe
can't respond to replies so is ok to not say anything. just needed to
tell.

yes. son knows ppl locally who will come to my home so no dragging him
to vet. he hates it all and would hate having to do things that way.

last nite he had medicine, first dose. hour later he ate the special
medicine! then he had some later dinner and this morning had
breakfast! he is weak but he is eating! very very very happy.

yep yep yep. he hates the medicine, poor booper. but i feel unguilty
about it, which is unusual for me. i know it is what is fixing. for me
it is the wonder med and his being ticked is just kind of, well, yeah,
you're p*ssed but you have the energy to be so. just relieved and
glad, we are.

What did they give him? Was it prednisone? That'll often get an animal
eating when it wasn't before.

kind of weirdly it is clavamox. she didn't want to give him steroids
cause the results of his test showed elevated levels of something for
his kidney. not high enough to be critical but elevated. his teeth
aren't in good shape but they are worried that sedating him to xray
and work on them would be more than he can handle. it's upsetting
cause they have never said anything about his teeth before and now
they saying teeth are in bad shape. anyway, vet said was a shot in the
dark but might help. and it's helping. so after hol*days i will call
and talk to vet again about next steps.

anyway, sorry for too many words. insecurity/anxiety is off the charts
today. feel h*nted. like any direction i go is going to be someone to
remind me of what a waste i am. has been going on for maybe a couple
months now. is messing us up badly. is oozing over into paranoia.

ok. see this is what is all wrong. talking about cat and end up blah
blah about me. makes me more full of loathing. is better for me to
just shut up and stay hiding.

old cats kidney numbers have been elevated for years and she just keeps
going. she's got other stuff going on too. think the vets don't always
know. and old dog needed his teeth done once. we kept putting off
because when he'd last been under anesthetic he'd had hard time waking
up and was big scary. finally he got bad infection in tooth and we had
to and he was fine. just saying this because it's a big scary and maybe
we can give some hope?
