Don't remember if we said, that pdoc never called us back. We told t and
she had talked to another APRN she knows who lives in the county south
of here. That APRN said she'd be willing to drive up here and see us at
home to prescribe. Not sure of that's ok. We told t that, and she talked
to her again, and we could see the APRN at t's office too if that felt
safer. We aren't sure. The APRN doesn't take medicare or medicaid, but
if we don't see her all time, like once or twice a month or less would
be ok. Can maybe afford that. Think it would be worth it for benzos or
something for anxiety. T said she'd like us to get something for sleep
too if we want, but she said she also understands what we've been
telling her about sleep aids being counterproductive to 24/7 alertness.
Hope she talked to the APRN soon because we really need something right
now, and we're too scared they'll lock us away if we end up in the
hsptl.

hope it works out. maybe APRN will lower fees? you could ask tpst. i
only go once every three months unless there is a problem with the
meds.

Our t said the APRN charges less than the other one who never called us
back. She said around $80 or $150 for the first eval because they take a
history. Think we can maybe afford that if it's once a month. Wife has a
flex spending account now for medical with her job. For some reason
medical types always take an interest in us. Don't know why. If we are
in the hsptl, usually first time or two, it will just be the treatment
team, then they'll bring in a couple medical students for the rest of
the meetings with the pdoc. When we were in the medical unit last time,
one resident doc helped is the first day, after that, the hsptl doc
would bring in ten students anytime he wanted to talk to us and ask too
many questions. Strange. Feels like we're on exhibit or something.
