Today, being the day before the day of commercialism and insanity was
relatively calm. We did some simple cleaning and loafing. It is very
very cold so we couldn't go outside and play in the snow. The SO
decided to make crepes for supper *blech* and we watched a movie.
Then we opened gifts the kids had made. I got a stargate *grin* and
a tent for camping (all made out of popsicle sticks *hee hee*).

I hope everyone in asd is enjoying the season in their own way.

We have been in SL for almost twenty-four hours building a new house.
Maybe someplace we can get away, even if not tangible, for a little
peace. It's right on a shoreline, with a road behind, so there's few
neighbors.

Have you checked out my place in Caledon Dundee? It's on the SW end --
a small stone croft with a little pond, and a dock with rowboat on the
sea. I call it "Juniper's Retreat." :-)

We only saw it in a pic you sent. Looks nice. :) We will have to visit
sometime. We lost our place in the mountains for not keeping up with
land use fees when we had no money. It's for sale now by Gov Linden.
L$3,390,000!

Our new place is real small. It's at the south end of Plano. We hadn't
logged in for months, and without spending the stipend, we had L$9,600
saved up, so we bought land again, but not enough for a monthly use fee.

Hi Jill,

We had some very nice food for dinner on Christmas Eve. And then we
opened all our presents. Everyone was very excited and happy.

Happy holidays to everyone.
