big rain
exactly. whats wrong with a simple steak dinner?
Yeah. Brother lived in Manila. It rained for seven months straight he
said. Sometimes more rain than other times, but always rain he said.

sounds quite tempting.
ummm....
we don't mind rain but ws nice to have a break
we gotta cowch and hamuck and matris
Doesn't rain here much. When it does, it lasts five minutes unless it's
flash flooding. Kind of weird because hundreds of years ago, this was
all underwater. The floor of Lake Bonneville. Can find seashells and
fossils at the shoreline at the tops of the mountain ranges. If you get
close and the trees aren't blocking it, you can see the shoreline.

Need to start on baking rolls soon so won't be running into prnts making

well, there is that, but i meant the idea of something that simnple.

you all better?
Indeed, with remarkable timing. Just have to hope I'm not still
contagious :P
i know, huh
:P~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
tradition :P
Now I have the song from Fiddler On The Roof in my head.
you don't gotta answer but we wondering how you dealing with tday
seems like foo stuff hard for you. gonna be lots of foo stuff?
well, shay says u can come here
anyway, can maybe take a break from foo stuff at some point? wander out
with camera for a bit
tradition = reason to be stressed?
yeah. is another church, has a cross with 4 arms, facing the 4 compass
points. maybe take some pictures of that. have like, 8 more veterans day
parade photos to develop, then will be caught up. means is ok to take
more, cuz promised selves wouldn't shoot more till caught up.
Bringing netbook even though not itnernet there. Not sure what I'll do
with it :P Will maybe find a book to bring. Is going to be lots of foo
yeah but just one part of one day. I can do one day. I'll be wiped out
after but I can handle it and I can go hide in the back bedroom if it
gets to be too much. I can also brag about the rolls I made :P And I
really like tday food, so there's that. And a big chunk of it the
grownups are all in the kitchen cooking and my c*usin and I get to be
out of the way :P Of course we have to do the dishes after but meh. is
an always thing.
Sorry. Rambleramble. Just will have ways to escape - go hide in other
room, stick nose in book, mess with computer. Might end up napping if
need be. I can't possibly get in trouble for it, c*usin sleeps on the
couch during f*mily stuff all the time.
well ja :P
And the dance makes me think of IF I WAS A RICH MAN! heehee
think maybe thats part of why we got stalled

we asked. glad you rambled
napping sounds like good plan too :)
Is job of me and c*usin, always. Assuming she doesn't skip off in the
middle of dinner and go sleep on the couch. She'd probably be less tired
all the time if she went to bed before three in the morning. (sorry.
c*usin irritates me a lot. she never gets in trouble for anything,
complete spoiled brat, and I get in trouble for everything.)

sent everyone else away
could be alone

herman is loving it
we saw topal live once. was way cool
fun!
makes us want to watch whole thing
then why we insist on following traditions. is pathological.
ok. can think of ways to unstall? we have been making steady but slow
progress. the big one was the day long shoot we did where we took more
than 300 pictures. even tho veterans day was big shoot, it was easy to
go through. actually started uploading this morning.
Because it's traditionnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! (Dai dai dai dai dai dai dai!)
Traditions don't tend to make any sense.
definitely ban tradition
sounds smart.
ja :)
definitely not fair.

how did it go?
Meh. Food was good enough (but got in trouble for not cleaning plate
because didn't like some of it) and digestive system hates me today.
slept on couch (formal couch in formal living room, not very
comfortable) for several hours between eating and going home isntead of
games and stuff. and then was woken up a while before leaving and got to
listen to m*m going on and on about how horrible I am because I didn't
offer a visitor a drink properly. sigh.
but there are leftover deviled eggs in the fridge and everyone liked my
rolls so *shrugs*
meh
(sounds like stuff our family does)
you an adult. no one's business if you don't clean your plate

your mom has issues. regrets
so, did she off the visitor a drink?

what kind of rolls? umm... are their kinds of rolls? heh, what the heck
am I asking
but m*m lectures anyway. think she refuses to admit we aged since ten
years old. (which was about when we developed our own opinions instead
of parroting hers.)

yes she does. even d*d says so.

I don't even know who/when she was talking about. But of course she
didn't. I'm naturally the only one capable of doing the dishes or being
a good hostess or cleaning up when one of the cacts throws up or taking
out the trash or or or.... etc.

Heh. I made these
http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/golden-pull-apart-butter-buns-recipe
and these http://www.kingarthurflour.com/recipes/honey-wheat-rolls-recipe
One batch of each. Grandma had asked me to do bread things and when I
asked what specifically she wanted she just said 'make whatever you
want' :P the golden pull-apart butter buns came out really really good.
apparently people liked the other too but they're not that great so I
don't think I'll make them again. The golden pull-apart buter buns
weren't as tall and pretty as their picture, but really tasty still. I
like baking.

heh. is very quiet. I just cooked some spinach and mozarella ravioli
that were in the freezer. eating them and drinking tomato juice. is good.
my grandma's called three times this morning, the first one woke me up,
but I'm not answering because don't want to deal with her right now >_<
I think she wants to take me shopping. Again. She buys me clothes
CONSTANTLY. I have WAY TOO MANY CLOTHES.

oops
Hmm, ok, so today was gymnastics for both kids. Fritz is learning to
do back hand springs. One way they have them practice is on a wedge
shaped foam mat (called 'the cheese') that allows gravity to help.
What one is SUPPOSED TO DO is stand facing backward at the big end
of the wedge, hands over head, jump into the air and do a backward
roll (with teacher help as needed), land on hands, push up and flip
feet over to land standing up. At this point most kids in the class
either need a lot of help or collapse half way through or fall down
backwards and do a backwards somersault. Well, today fritz decided he
was going to 'try it once on my own'...
What I saw from the lobby was him facing away, jumping up, flipping
over backwards with NO ARMS OVER HEAD!!!!! and landing plop on
his head, then he flipped his feet over and stood up. Other than
looking like he broke his neck the move was pretty cool *wry grin*
He jumped up and started laughing so I knew he wasn't a quadrapalegic
*phew* and the teacher started breathing again as well. Next time
around she INSISTED on helping!!!!!! And, go figure, he remembered to
put his arms up.

Wish I could have done gymastics. Then again, I probably would have
br*ken my neck as I'm terribly uncoordinated :P I wrecked my neck *and*
threw out my back on ordinary trampolines before i learned my lesson!

heh. we did that exact same thing as a kid, except there was no foamy
cheese thing. we were fine but guess we scared the poo out of the adults

ja. that happened to us too :P
Well, it kind of looks like a hunk of cheese for one thing and for
another Little Gym has silly names for lots of things! :)

Yeah, even with the cheese it scared me, the lady next to me, the
teacher next to him _and_ the teacher across the room. After class she
said she saw what was about to happen and things went into slow
motion. I asked the teacher supervising him about it and she said she
thought he could do it! He told her 'I want to try this by myself
first to see what it feels like' and given other things he _is_
capable of doing, she figured he would do ok. Had he put his arms UP,
he might have done fine :P

The _third_ time around he did it by himself, arms up, no assistance
so I guess he was right and so was the teacher, he _was_ capable...
