CIPD, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy

I have a friend who suffers from CIPD. Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy. He has asked me to try to find more information and a support group to help him. Any information and help would be appreciated. He feels isolated and alone with nowhere to turn. I am having a difficult time finding any help for my friend. If anyone can inform me of information and especially a support group that will help him, please let me know.

I found this sight helpful. http://www.gbs-cidp.org/ They are an international group but will put you in touch with a local support group. I found them very helpful. I have CIPD.
