Calf and shin muscles mostly - with some episodes in those sheets of muscle
across the inner thighs and occasionally in the biceps of the leg.
Seems to have gotten worse coincident with recent progression of the PN... but
then again, "correlation is not causation"....

Had that a number of times. Last one a few weeks ago. The nerves in the feet
up to about mid-calf are 100% gone according to the doc that did the test.
Progressive? Yes... I think the term of art is "Insidiously progressive
idiopathic"...
But my real question is about the cramps. Are they related to PN in general?

Hi
There is a spectrum of disorders called neuromyotonia. Cramp and muscle
twitching are common problems. I guess if you have progressive PN and
motor nerves are affected as well as sensory, then irritated, damaged or
demylinated motor nerves could cause abnormal muscle tone and cramp.
No expert though ;-)
Good Luck
