BIGFOOT - DESIGN A FOOTBALL STADIUM Challenge: The program: a new
football stadium for the
Los Angeles metropolitan area. With no professional football teams
left in Los Angeles the only football in town is
the college rivalry of UCLA vs USC. Fifty years of pro football is
no more. It will not return unless a new stadium
is built to accommodate the best the game has to offer. No longer
are the historic monuments of the Memorial
Coliseum, home of two Olympic Games, and the Rose Bowl, perhaps the
best known stadium in the world,
regarded as good enough. A state of the art venue is needed in
order to bring the best of American football to Los
Angeles and the world. BIGFOOT Stadium must be an extraordinary
work of architectural design. It is time for new
football memories in the sun and the sand of California. $75 entry
fee. $10,000 first prize. For registration info, call:
