Subject: Re: MY experience - For the Males in this NG !
Well, Johnny, we're definitely in the minority here.  I lost about 90
lbs (a little under 45 kg I believe) and have kept it off for about 7
years.  I started with light exercise and minor diet changes and worked
my way into tougher routines and stricter (more strict??) eating habits.
It has become a hobby for me to be in the best shape I can.  As much as
I've tried, though, I haven't been able to get six-pack abs- I guess
it's a guy thing to feel pressure to have well defined abs.  I won't
stop trying, but I think I just don't have genetics on my side.

Anyways, I read and post in this group to help others and to learn for
myself- it's good to hear there is someone else with similar
experiences.

good luck,

AL
