Does anybody know why all the newsgroups have been getting SO MUCH
pornography messages? It's overwhelming (and disgusting). Why aren't they
staying in there place. There are plenty of places on the net for it. Why
the heck would a group of people with weight problems want to look at people
with normal bodies (I mean normal in weight). The only naked person I want
to see looking slim is ME! Can someone email me personally to tell me how
to killfile those type of things? Much appreciated.

Nikki, welcome to the club. Porn is 90% of my AOL mail and I don't visit
their sites. I have MSIE 5 and I have been able to put filters on specific
e-mail so that it is refused and deleted. That works if it comes from the
same source. Also you might change your email return address on posts to
newsgroups to something like nikki6...@gateway.net. That alerts us (your
friends) to remove the nospam before we email you. Maybe we can forward our
porn to somebody that needs it? Any ideas. John B
