One can use the InsuJet. Some years ago it was deemed unreliable, 2
weeks ago I phoned the DVN (diabetes association netherlands) about sth
entirely else (the Insulcheck, which is not yet available here) and one
of the people there told me that with the innovated InsuJet one could
safely rely on getting the right dose of insulin inside ones body.

"Het Nederlands" = the Dutch language.
"Nederland" = The Netherlands.

I'll never forget the time we were given needle free shots at school for the
German Measles. I didn't get one and neither did another girl. The reason?
They said in front of everyone that we might be pregnant! Horrified, I ran
home and told my mom. Long story short, we had started our periods. So we
had to go to the Dr. and get our shots with the needle.

But those poor kids who didn't get the needle? I don't know what it was. I
don't think they had lasers yet. This would have been about 1970 or maybe
1971. It was some sort of black, gun looking thing. Kid after kid screamed
in horror as the stuff was somehow shot into them and it left a huge red
mark on their arm. I felt very bad for them.

Yes. I was relieved about that.
