DH told me that he read that next year insulin will be covered. Anyone
know of this being true?

I dont know anything about it, but I am thinking that if a person has
prescription Part D, that insulin would be covered. I dont have
prescription part D as I have a union plan which covers all my drugs,
but I sure hope that insulin will be covered by medicare.

-----------------------------------------------------

I took insulin for about two years on a sliding scale.

It was covered on my Medicare Part D insurance from Humana, as were the
needles and syringes.

There was some co-pay, but I don't recall how much. I bought two vials
during those two years and used very little from either one. That's why I
had my doctor take it off my list of meds.
