Since starting on the new insulin, my BG has been very spiky. No lows but
sometimes normal to near normal numbers before dinner. Twice, I had numbers
close to 500 (including before going to bed last night) and once it was
something like 537. So, not liking that. But I have also noticed weird
swelling and there is no weight gain with it.
Yesterday and the day before, my fingers were thinner. So much so that my
rings were almost dropping off. No weight loss. But now? My wedding ring
is almost cutting my circulation off. So my fingers are swollen. Could the
high BG be causing this?
Also several people have complimented me on my weight loss recently. The
catch? I didn't lose any weight. Weight has been steadily the same for
some time now. Had it been just one person who said this I would have let
it slide. But it was several and they insisted that I must have, even when
I assured them that I had not. So maybe my shape changed or something?
Dunno because I can't see it myself. Sometimes my pants are far too loose
but I think it is a fault of the pants. The way they are making yoga pants
now, there is no elastic in them. It's just stretchy fabric which might
start out fitting well but seems to stretch as the day goes on.
