A while ago someone was asking whether this was the end of ASD and
newsgroups. Scanning the posts (too many for me to read), I am pleased to
say that ASD seems to be going strong - of course there's the usual mix of
trolls and scammers but, above all, people who are thoughtful, considerate
and have the excellent information and advice I have become used to on ASD
and MHD. As I said at the time, the post numbers will go down... then they
will go up. Trolls and scammers come and go. there'll always be enough of
good people to keep it going.
