I bought an 8th oz. of Bubba Kush at a non-descript--no sign on the
door, strip mall store front with the address in huge letters above the
heavily tinted windows and door.
Grabbing the handle of the door and pulling, I was momentarily locked
out, but then buzzed-in to a dank room with a Goth young receptionist in
a low cut top and a several tattoos. She handed me some paperwork, then
checked the validity of my prescription at an 800 number and verified
that I was OK. I had to sign a paper saying I wasn't a cop.
Then, she pointed to the inner office black door, behind which was a
darker, even more dank room where $15 edibles and $60/8th oz herb could
be bought. I bought an 8th and got a free, highly sugared Smore edible
with a warning to eat little bites and not too many of them.
Later, at home, a little chunk of bud in full fat soy milk in the
microwave for 2-3 minutes worked really fast on my burning feet tonight.
Wow! I'm impressed.
So a cop with a prescription would be denied treatment?
Let's hold up the health care reform bill for another week
while we add fifty pages to handle this problem.
Are you treating the cause, or do you not bother because
the symptoms are gone? (I ask, because everyone I ever
met who used cannabis had "don't really care" as their
response to almost anything.)

Do we really want stoned cops?
bj
No, we want the kind that "get up early to beat the crowd".

Cops shouldn't have access to the same health care as the rest of us?
They don't work 24/7.

Ahh...if that were true!
Sadly, the grape, the malt, nor the grain alcohol do not smile on nerve
pain.

Do we want cops with neuropathy who can only walk on pins and needles?:-)
Wendy
I can think of several other methods of treating them, but stoning would
still be high on the list.

No use in the country where the streets are paved with gold :-)
I'm glad I wasn't working in your neighborhood, then.
Although there are parts of town where stoning would be the least of their
problems.

(I don't feel very humorous about thoughts of violence toward police
officers. Too many names on the memorial wall already.)

It **should** be decriminalized.

During the DNC, police arrested 154 protesters. On Tuesday, the Denver
District Attorney declined to prosecute a Denver officer caught on
videotape shoving a Code Pink demonstrator to the ground with his riot
baton during the DNC.

Cesamet is a legal marijuana derivitave that is available, in capsule
format, in Canada and a lot of other countries world-wide
too bad the FDA saw 'marijuana' and wouldn't do more...........
