Insulin, IR, weight gain

My doctor tells me it's wise to keep blood sugar as close to normal as
possible while avoiding high insulin requirements, high insulin
resistance and weight gain.

It would be helpful to me and maybe other insulin users to share our
diabetes type, A1c, TDD (total daily dose) of insulin, height, weight,
daily carb intake and years post diagnosis.

Type II
A1c--5.2
TDD Insulin--30 units
Height: 5'7"
Weight 148 lbs.
Daily Carb Intake est.: 40-50 gr.
Years post diagnosis: 11

A1c: 4.8 - 5.2
TDD Insulin: None, no diabetic meds
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 70kg (154lbs).
Daily Carb Intake est.: 90-120 gr.
Years post diagnosis: 10
