Hi Hexe,

I have a book recommendation for you.  It's called The Femine Face of God
-- The Unfolding of The Sacred in Women.    The authors are Sherry Ruth
Anderson & Patricia Hopkins.

The Title is somewhat mis-leading.  It is not about God in the traditional
sense.   It is about spirituality.  It has stories from women from all
different types of spiritual backgrounds - from budhists, to native american,
jewish to christian.   From ex-nuns to women who believe that trees and rocks
are an essential part of spirituality.

I thought of you when I first started reading it because you were talking
about how the Bible was written by men for men in a generation where women were
considered little better than chattel.   Something I have often thought about
in the past.   This book addresses that.

I am struggling with it cause it is  "to out there" for my traditional
mindset.   But I thought you might like it.

in faith,

Grace
When God sends the dawn,  He sends it for all.   -  Cervantes

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.
- Mother Teresa
