Never said I was. Linda's trying to make me sound like a liar because
I use this particular nym, and am not a lawyer. The reason I use the
nym is because I thought it sounded kind of cool(I have seen much
corruption by lawyers; dishonesty and plain shitiness during my life)
and a horse what runs at Woodbine is called 'Bent Attorney.' I added
the term esq. after I saw that some lawyers use that term. My nym is
a sarcastic stab at the legal profession. and so on and so forth.
I've said before here, in reply to a posting by Nom de Plume that I am
a machinist. That's right. I'm a machinist. Period. End of
discussion.
Now having said all of that, there is a fellow on this newsgroup who
seems to be honest etc. An honest lawyer? Well maybe. But he does
sound like one of the good ones.
I've never had a good lawyer; either have relatives and friends of
mine.
Latest case: A friend of mine was using a lawyer to collect on a
debt. The person that owes the debt actually phoned my friends lawyer
and tried to get all chumy with him. My friend also got CHARGED for
these phone calls! We're talking alot of money. He didn't pay of
course. And of course since the lawyer had no recourse because he was
scum, he couldn't collect payment. and so on and so forth.

Easy does it! My response was of course tongue-in-cheek, i.e. I'm
'supporting' *your* views! I thought my "munching" of ADs was a dead
give-away. I *could* have thrown in a smiley, but thought that wasn't
neccessary. Apparently I was wrong.
