I feel physically a bit better on less lithium, even
though so far I have just dropped from 900 mg/day
lithium carbonate to 600 mg/day lithium carbonate.
Probably starting Wednesday night I will drop down
to 300 mg/day.

The divalproex sodium is still causing a bit of
drowsiness. It hasn't caused significant weight
gain yet but may be making my face a little puffier.
It also made have caused some head cold symptoms;
I still have some nasal drip/congestion. But
overall I think I'm getting used to it fine.

I hope it works out well for you. Time will tell.

I met with my psychiatrist today and he told me
that my valproic acid blood level was 342 and
350 to 700 is considered therapeutic range,
plus he will be away the week leading up to
May 6, so he doesn't want to reduce the lithium
further just yet. He asked me to get new
bloodwork done in a week's time but didn't
increase the divalproex sodium any more yet.
