The ad for Monday night's episode of the Fox TV show "Titus" mentions
manic depression.

The show is a sitcom. I wonder if the manic depression aspect will have
an dignity and respect.

Is anyone going to watch that show?

I'm sure one of the stupidest shows ever made will be sensitive about mental
illness.

You better believe I watch it. Its the funniest show I've seen in a LONG
time
(besides "That 70's Show"). I think its presented almost true to form.

Big two thumbs up!

Linda

Normally we watch Discovery or Learning Channel on Monday's. We gave
up sit coms a few years ago--they just werent funny anymore.

But, if the Kings (basketball) are playing--guess what we will be
watching. <g> I think I liked it bettr when hubby had season
tickets--at least I didnt have to watch so many b-ball games. LOL

But, it is on my list--so we may see it--if a half hour show doesnt
wreck an hour show somewhere else.

I used to just watch congressional hearings but over the years that stopped
being funny ,...so now I only watch Seinfeld repeats and the Daily Show on
Comedy central for my news fix. Sometimes I watch kids in the hall too.

That line about his mother caught me off guard too, but I didn't think they
were making fun of her, simply stating the fact that she'd been in and out
of
institutions so she wasn't there is all.

I'm glad to see someone agrees with me that it's a stupid show. I thought
all the promos that they had for it was just a bunch of typical Fox hype.
I've watched bits of it and sat there stone faced and bewildered that anyone
would even smile at it.

I don't think Manic Depression is funny. If someone thinks such suffering is
funny. I will pray for them that they never, never have it.

I'm a newbe, guess you could tell.

Anything can be funny, and humor is a good way of softening the pain of
reality.

I guess I just think that life isn't all that serious. Its either laugh or
cry and I choose to laugh. God knows I've had enough crying for one life.
I
believe there's a bit of humor to be had in ANYthing. You have to look for
it. Tomorrow I might cry, but for today... JUST for today, let me laugh
where
ever I can. Just one woman's opinion.
