it's so beautiful today. looks like a Chinese watercolor. ok, a Chinese
watercolor on acid.

it's drizzling, lots of greens, little bits of yellow and red from the
native maples. the hills are rolling with vegetation. here and there a
leaf falls from the sky. there's just enough wind gusts to make it look
like a tree might fall on the house.

it's gorgeous to watch from next to a warm fire.

but then there's this part of me that wants to get out of the damn house
already. 2pm and i haven't even showered. didn't bother yesterday at all.
gotta remember to do that sometimes.

must. leave. house.

it's much nicer from inside though.

maybe i'll go the coffee shop and sit by the fire and read.

We went on a very long walk today. It was about 70F which is very warm for
this time of year. The sun was shining and just the gentlest of breezes.
Walked along the Lakefront which was just gorgeous. These kind of days are
rare here is Nov. Here is Milw. Wi. We live about 1 mi from the lakefront
so we go walking there a lot in the nice weather. Then we went to Brady St.
which is the old "hippie" street. There's a little Italian grocery store
there. We always stop and buy some really good cheese and olives. We went
to the Italian bakery down the block and I bought two Tutus. Had to get two
because it was a silly thing to say. Then I took the two Tutus and tasted
them while traversing the town.
Sweetheart bartered a computer job at a jewelry store and I got a really
unusual aquamarine ring. I have him trained really well. ;>)

Go to the coffee shop and enjoy sitting by the fireplace. I know what it's
like not wanting to do things when down but getting out and forcing yourself
usually helps to ease things up. Exercise is a great mood lifter. Doesn't
have to be heavy (I hate gyms and such, ewwwww...no one sees this cellulite
if I can avoid it!) but even a nice slow stroll helps.
