Subject: update
I'v been in what I call the low years (some depression but
more low in way of delusions and also low creativity)
since Jan. 29, 1996.   In recent days I have asked for
healing workings. prayers, spells and meditations from
others (they would be welcome from you too) in various
newsgroups, towards ending my low (or wilderness) years.

After that I have started feeling more clear-headed and
also I am having far fewer spontaneous perineum clicks
(which started not long after the low years started).
So I have now resolved to ignore any future such
spontaneous perineum clicks and not to seek any
non-spontaneous clicks through divination.  I also
feel a bit more relaxed.

If I also had voices and/or visions in addition to the
delusions (or psychosis in the extreme) I would be
diagnosed as schizoaffective, but I am diagnosed as
bipolar.   I take 900 mg lithium carbonate/day (for
a lithium blood level of about 0.7), which is a lot
less than I needed for the same level when I was
younger, and 10 mg olanzapine/day, which I hope to
reduce to 5 mg/day eventually.

Right now my psychiatrist's office is closed for an
extended period and I am being monitored by my
family doctor (but luckily my mental health is
good these days; note that I am less eccentric
offline than online).  I don't plan to reduce the
olanzapine until I see my usual psychiatrist again
or another psychiatrist.

Very glad to hear it.  About time too.  I hope the improvement continues.
