Some recent pics of my polymer clay stuff,
from the earlier days, polymer clay canes,
my new couch, couple snapshots of some details from my new place,
Tigger and of course, THE COUCH!
Well, you get to see a part of the couch.

Very nice! You should get into one stroke painting. <wink>

Thanks :)

That's the decorative painting kind of stuff? Right?
I've been eyeing that for a while. Actually, I'm a big fan of Trope
l'oleil, I got a few projects I wanted to do with that in my idea books.

I need to ditch the job and do artsy fartsy stuff full time...
but then... it would become a job :( ;)

thanks :)

With all that stuff, I have to be organized...

not to worry, it won't last...
I'm good at organizing things, but I'm not good at keeping them organized.
Once I'm done, I want to turn it over to someone else for maintenance

Trompe L'oeil is cool, we used to sell a few books about it. Your
stuff has a definite decorative painting/folk art feel to it - have
you ever seen Donna Dewberry on the Home Shopping Channel? She's
probably the biggest One Stroke icon out there right now; I mean, no
shit, the woman has just recently come out with her own line of
clothing.

And believe you me, she's rich - her husband is largely behind her
business savvy - she's the artist after all - but they are a machine.

There are even publishing houses which will publish your own books and
promote them (for a fee, of course). Connie - if you ever get a book
published - it requires photographing your stuff and providing
detailed patterns and instructions - I'll sell it on our website. It's
the way to start if you want to get big.

I have been thinking about a book of some sort, or postcards or something
with my computer renderings. have you ever seen any of those?
Periodically I post them on alt.binaries.3d.Bryce ...
Stan and few other people saw the Christmas card I made last year, and
really really liked it. Couple of people even wanted a farmed 8x10 of it.

What does it take to publish postcards, greeting cards... I'm just starting
to do the initial research to find out what it takes. Or, should I say, I'm
not sure where to start that research. Last few weeks I've been randomly
hunting and pecking on the net, to see if anything interesting shakes out.
Couple people that have seen my work suggested a coffee table book, or a
calendar....

I could probably invest in printing a set of cards, and hope I get some
people interested in marketing them. That's my problem, with a full time
job, and then doing those things in the evening, or weekends, I end up with
not much time to market.
One of my rl friends is really interested in marketing my stuff, but she
also isn't sure where to start, and is looking for guidance from me, which I
can't really give her much at the moment.

Instructional books and what you mentioned is a great idea too. I can
definitely do instructions and descriptions of how-to.
I know there's money in crafts business, it's a 12 billion dollar a year
industry, well last time I checked, couple years ago.

Hey, I lost the link to your store website before I had a chance to check it
out... :(, could I have it again, please?

Hi Connie, you asked the other day for some pics of my Merlin. I am not too
good a doing webpages, so not making excuses for this, but there are some
pics I have uploaded of cats, kids, me and places I like to go. Hope you
like the pics. Sorry not very good pics of Merlin, but I had trouble keeping
him in one place for photo's. I like the one of him on my computer chair, he
would not even open his eyes, so if you can make out the cat shaped shadow,
thats him.
Anyway, its not much of an effort but it will give you an idea of me and
some of my favorite people, places and pets.
Regards Lee

That is my Anneka, she is the baby she is 15 months old and the only girl
and she terrorises the boys something shocking.
