  People should keep in mind that almonds and other fruits and nuts (almonds &lt;br&gt; are technically fruits!) can wreak havoc on the digestive systems of people &lt;br&gt; with inflammatory bowel disease--some can digest them with no problem, &lt;br&gt; others go through hell. Proceed with caution.
