I wanted to bring this article to your attention, which highlights the
dangers of sepsis from an ill-fitting ileostomy bag when having an epidural
for pain relieve. There are a handful of patients here with ileostomies and
I, for one, have had a few epidurals in the last 17 years that I have been
an ileostomist.
