My doctor has recommended Remicade several times and being that I want
to have a another child I feel that's not the best idea. I am trying
not to give up on becoming pregant, but it's starting to feel
hopeless. I feel like if I do the Remicade I've given up. My
fertility specialist and all other drs. say it have nothing to do with
the Crohns(although my problem is unexplained). I just don't believe
it. Has anyone experienced difficulty becoming pregant? Thoughts on
Remicade?
Thanks for listening!

It almost sounds like your trying to replace your meds with something less
toxic.....Great Concept.....but personally I don't know of any onething
that
will work. It took me 8 months to where i felt i know longer needed to be
taking drugs for my crohn's and I pushed it. But i knew I was
ready......My health was stead fastly improving and I knew I didn't need
the drugs anymore.
It wasn't a matter of what I needed to fight this disease......but what do
I need to do to help improve my overall health and the learning never
ends.It was also anything but easy..... for when I was sick it was very easy
for me to find excuses for me not to do so. But the bottomline was and
still is if it's to be ...it's going to be upto me to do it. I was just sick
and tired of being sick and tired all the time. It's friggin depressing being
that way.
Most doctors will agree that a healthy patient usually responds to
treatment a lot better.
Some people call it Alternative Medicine, or Compilmentary Medicine.....I
like to term it "common sense"....for the evidence out there for people to
do so I find is irrefutable. Even more so when we are sick. Just take a
quick looksee at Vitamin E....it's amazing the benefits that Science has
shown we can derive from supplementing just 400 IU's a day. Vitamin E being
just one of many. And if you find that interesting wait till you find out
about Vitamin E and Vitamin C working together in Synergy. Then add some
Proanthocyanidins to the Vitamin E and Vitamin C mixture and you will see
why I term Proanthocyanidns (The Turbocharger).
The more informed one is about there health the Better.
There are tons of books out there on how to help improve one's health
One of my favorites and fairly upto date book is Dr. Ray D Strands
"What your Doctor Doesn't know about Nutritonal Medicine maybe Killing You"

Talk to your doctor and ask about how the remicade will affect your attemtps
to get pregnant and it's other side effects. that is the best advice I can
give.
feel better,

For more on this author, check out www.sanoviv.com. This is a "clinic"
in Mexico that treats cancer patients with wheatgrass enemas and
colored-light therapy and charges patients $700/day. The
"international medical director" of this "clinic" is Ray Strand, who
wrote the book Ken recommends.

That's funny coming from you Ken Ward, hell you don't worry ever
getting the facts right so why should you complain about someone else?
BTW Ken I thought you were leaving this NG for good? You're just
another drama queen on this newsgroup with a grade 10 education.
Stick to stacking boxes in a warehouse, it's about the only thing a
half-wit like you is suited to do.

I never said I was perfect!! close ...but not perfect.:)..The difference is
NA knows he is lieing. HE has to make things up so he can make it look bad.
Yes, I can stack the boxes!!! 10 hours a day. Even with this
disease....Wanna see if you can do it? I'm a bettin you wouldn't last 5
hours. It can be pretty physical....I'd like to see how well you could do
against this halfwit. :) It's easy to put things in writing...but lets see
you back it up :)
As for another example of getting the facts right... I had to go to colledge
to work in the warehouse.Have you never heard of Logistics? I have my MM1
and MM2 and I'm TQ.
So now lets hear how perfect you are!!! I really want to hear this......
Tell us about yourself...or are you just one of those people? :)
Ken Ward, the smiley faces don't make you any less dangerous and can't
mask the obvious need for attention you have. Furthermore, Kenny boy
you don't understand science and you sure as hell don't have a good
grasp on basic medicine. For the good of everyone here just leave
this NG once and for all, and don't come back this time.
PS Please take everyone's favorite headcase, MsTjay, with you. Thanks.

Colledge? I have no idea what MM1 and MM2 are, but apparently they
don't involve English classes, spelling or homophones.

Which "colledge" did you go to?
I don't know if that means he mixes the wheatgrass enemas himself or
he hires people to do it.

Ken W. and Ed Torres both get embarrassed when the subject of Sanoviv
is brought up. The Sanoviv "clinic" is owned by the same person who
runs their vitamin-shilling pyramid scheme.
see www.sanoviv.com for more on this $700/day wheatgrass-enema resort.

Where can I read the information above?
Regards,
Ed Torres
You should be embarrassed for providing misleading information based
on prejudice and ignorance.
Yet you and Ken never--ever--bring up Sanoviv yourselves. This
indicates to me that you are ashamed of it and its association to your
pyramid-scheme employer.
>
>... providing misleading information
The "information" in question is not misleading, as it came straight
from Sanoviv's website: www.sanoviv.com. That includes the price ($700
a day) and the type of "treatment" given there: wheatgrass enemas and
colored lights. The website also includes the people targeted:
patients with cancer and others who are scared and vulnerable. It also
gives its location: Mexico, out of the regulatory oversight of the
U.S. government and its fraud-busting power.
To be clear: though they never bring it up first in this newsgroup,
the pyramid scheme that Ed and Ken work for is owned by the same
people who run this so-called "clinic."
"Still waiting" for what? Did you want him to brag that he can stack
boxes ***11*** hours a day?
This is the Internet. Keep your challenges appropriate to that medium.
So when I say Ray Strand is affiliated with the Sanoviv "clinic," I'm
actually making Strand "look bad"? Your words exactly, Ken.

"Dry Skin Brushing
The skin is the largest detoxification organ of the body. Dry skin
brushing is an important part of the detoxification process because it
removes dead skin cells, improves circulation, opens pores, and
increases the skin's ability to remove toxins. The
only equipment needed is a natural bristle body brush, preferably one
with a detachable long handle. It is important to keep the brush
clean, as it will be removing dead skin and impurities from the body.
Every few days, wash the brush with a mild soap, rinse well, towel
dry, and allow 24 hours for further drying before using it again."
Now combine that with wheatgrass enemas and the colored-light therapy,
and if THAT's not worth $700 a day, I don't know what is.
as is Norman Rockwell. These are rhetorical statements, not literal suggestions.
He's lonely. He's isolated where he lives and works. This newgroup is

>> Correction: Dr. Ray Strand is a family practitioner in Rapid City,
>> South Dakota, not at Sanoviv (Baha, Mexico).

Then start policing the USANA websites.
-
I found several which state:
"Dr. Ray Strand, USANA Medical Advisory Board, International Medical Director
of Sanoviv."
