Today's Wall Street Journal discussed how a cancer patient took his
health insurance company and a long list of hospitals and physicians by
the scruff of their necks and *persuaded* them to provide denied
treatments and cut prohibitive costs to improve and extend his life. His
should be an encouraging story for anyone not getting all he wants from
his insurance.

that no change is needed. He has been the beneficiary of
government-provide health care at at least three levels, but claims
government involvement in health care for other people is
"unconstitutional". Having watched FNC for 5 hours daily for 10
consecutive years he is a little bit indoctrinated and therefore fails
to see that the WSJ story is really advocating universal health
insurance, so that the Mannetts of this world won't have to worry about:
- medical bills aggregating $600,000
- negotiating on your own with health care providers
- worrying about pre-existing conditions
