Essentially, there are seven types of PCa cells. Three or four are faster
growing and the others are slower. Those that are slower are hormone
resistant. So, when you go on ADT, the cells that are not resistant are
starved quickly. But those that are resistant are not. Eventually, the
slower growing cells produce sufficient PSA to be seen.
