It's a trial of MDV3100. 2/3 of participants will get the drug
and 1/3 will get a placebo.

Note to Sue Mullen:

It's being offered at Fox Chase in Phila. I assume Kevin should
continue what he's doing unless and until it stops working. When
and if it does, here's a possible next step.

Alan, first off, thanks for sending me a copy of this!!

I knew about MDV3100 from this group and early on asked Kevin's med.
onc. about it. At that time he was trying to get it and later on we
discovered he had gotten it.

The reason Kevin is doing Taxotere instead of Ketoconazole, is that you
can't get into the MDV3100 trial if you have taken Ketoconazole. The
med. onc. wanted to keep MDV3100 as an option if the Taxotere doesn't
work or if the side effects get too bad. Of course if Kevin can continue
Taxotere untill Abireterone is approved, that is another option.

I like that the trial is only 1/3 placebo and 2/3 the read drug. Much
better then the 50/50 on other trials.
