dx 5/06 BC IIIB - mastectomy / chemo / RAD dx 6/06 ACC (form of adrenal cancer -- second primary) - surgery 7/06 Today I got smiles, hand-shakes (responded with YEAH and fist pump) at my Oncologists office. 3-1/2 years out and clear C/T scan (NED) for both areas. Are there any limitations as to how much chemotherapy or radiotherapy you can have with breast cancer? I have a friend who has already had two lots of chemo and two lots of rads, and now has secondary cancer. I know the answer might vary dependent on the strength of chemo/rads but any general help would be appreciated.... more »

I didn't need all of these ads and dumb stuff when I was diagnosed...I needed Tim and all of the gals and their husbands that knew what I was going through, explained my test results and told me what I might face in the future. Sorry folks, that is what a breast cancer support group is to me. Thank God I got that when I needed it! Hopefully we can once again give it... more »
