... at least it's very different from it's former, original status.

I'm sad about that, I came to see if October, Breast Cancer Awareness
Month, was to be marked here but can find nothing related to support
for breast cancer among the posts.

If anyone is listening/reading, I greet you all warmly and hope that
you're doing as well as I am.

Love to all my old friends,

Mary

Hi Mary. Good to hear from you. Hope you and Malcolm are well.
Thankfully, Brook and I are doing just fine.

Yes, the group doesn't seem at all the same. I no longer get the
groups on my newsserver and have to access it by way of the web now,
so I'm not here much. I check in periodically to see if any "oldies"
are writing.

In a short while, it will be 26 years since my diagnosis, and I'm so
grateful that I'm still perkin' !

My regards to Tim, Eva and any others who are also reading.

I have the same issue, that my ISP dropped usenet servers. Glad to see
some familiar faces.

Where is everyone hanging out these days?

Hi alex. Good to see your name when I checked in today. Thankfully,
I am well. You?

I've been writing to a HER2 support group, because my sis was
diagnosed in March with HER2 positive breast cancer. We're getting
her through treatment now. It will be a long course, but her
prognosis is good....just have to keep our eyes on the finish line!
