Well, it is like this... There are two sides here, both of whom hate each other. It makes it impossible to get decent information out to people who are looking for serious information on implants, or implant related problems...
They are so busy throwing insults at one another, they do not consider how they have hurt this issue and this is why some of us who used to post here have gone away...
It is like a bad soap opera. You can miss reading for months and pick up right where you left off without even reviewing the messages... I have never seen a group of "adults" who seem to thrive on hating each other so much...
Regardless, there are some very nice people involved, but they have let their tempers and other things get the best of them, oneupping each other with the most vicious and vile comments possible... They look like fools and are probably the toast of every cocktail party imaginable to anyone involved in pro implant positions... Meanwhile, imagine new people, or even physicians trying to wade through all of this crap to find out serious information...
If I was going to exert what little energy I have left in this fashion, it would be to vent on the people who made me sick... Cathie

Ilena and Jan make me sick. Seriously though, it is sad and even tragic that two unimplanted women disrupt this issue so much. It cannot be denied that this board functions quite well when Ilena takes her leave. Kathi, who took over the posting of studies and articles when Ilena first went on the lamb from her judgement, did an excellent job of pulling people together for support. I yhink if Ilena had what is in the best interest of implant survivors in mind, would find others to "advocate". i would certainly stop my negative posts if she quit her crap.
