GFT has introduced monthly autism-friendly screenings. The film and
the cinema environment are suitable for children with autism spectrum
disorders and/or sensory hypersensitivity. The films have no
subtitles, are played with the volume reduced and the house lights on
low. Children can make noise and move around. Children with other
disabilities are welcome to attend the screenings too.

The screenings will take place on the first Saturday of each month at
12.30pm.

Glasgow Young Scot or Kidz Card holders and an accompanying adult get
in FREE to these shows! All other tickets are 3.50. Each childs
ticket admits one adult free of charge.

Please contact Paul on 0141 352 8604 or in...@gft.org.uk

(Suffers from the usual notion that only children are autistic, but
still, it's not half bad. Under usual circs, I avoid fillum like the
plague, and moving images generally like at least a bad cold, so *I
certainly shouldn't complain of not being catered to/for.)

So much for the suitability for those with sensory hypersensitivity!

Sometimes autistic needs are just incompatible with themselves. :(
