Group inactivity
The activity in this group seems glacial. I guess it's because people have moved on to fancy shmancy web forums. Too bad, because usenet seems to contain more critically thought-out content, all in one place rather than scattered among dozens of fora. Or maybe I'm just forgetting all the funny business that happened on usenet.... more »

I've always had itchy throat, but when winter comes, the cold air drys up and every little thing causes spasms of coughing. I walk around like a freak and annoy my colleagues with it. It is growing worse through the years. Mostly a dry cough, but exclusively. I recently started to humidify my apartment, keeping the relative... more »

do leaves contain [pollen] allegen too ?
I'm guessing that plant leaves also contain the [protein] allegen of the plant/s of which the pollen effects people. Only. one can breath in the pollen grains, but not the leaves. If so, would a skin prick test, using liquid from crushed leaves be effective? I want to test myself for 'London plane tree'.... more »
