Hey, Joe, you know what's funny?  The guy who owns the domain

Dear Nortshore CEO,

may I know what pisssed you off....giving info about the product to fellow
asthmatic....or...something else...

yes I am pushing a product I believe in and it helped me.......so what is
the problem about that...call me 916-689-0752 I will try and give you a
deal.

Yes I am selling the product because no one really wants to hire a disabled
/asthmatic person.

Yes it gives me a little bit money to help my wife feed my children.

Maybe you are hiring.....since you got  CEO in your AOL extension
(children's network). I used to remember how fun AOL used to be.

I know I can make my domain private but why should I. I am not hiding
anything.

I need to hire an IT pro who knows how to look up domain names......send me
you app...

I am still baffled by your anger about helping others.....that is why I said
do a "search".....there are a lot of products similar to mine.....please do
a "search"...

SPAM hmmm let me see the rule that applies to newsgroups...I may have
violated the freedom of other people from breathing normally.

I apologize if I e-mailed - I mean Spamming you

sorry for the inconvenience I may caused you....let me know your address.
so I can fly over there and "point /click and delete email"

then again I apologize for your inconvenience. If this caused some monetary
damages let me know I will see if I can reimburse you for the damages

please visit www.ebayelk.com and buy from me it will help get out of my 7
years of unemployment. I offer 30 day return policy against my direct
competitors.

Live long and asthma free....at least less asthma

Joe

Well, that was self-righteous.  You played some interesting
harp-strings there ("no one want to hire an asthmatic"-- that's as
pandering and inaccurate as it comes).  If you want to help others,
then post something  that is not self-serving.  Medical support groups
are for non-commercial support, not sales. This isn't a classified ad
column.   Remember--you have a website.  Try to get your site listed in
the various search engines under keywords associated with air quality
and asthma--it will help you get hits on the site.  If you don't know
how to do this, let me know, and I'll try to help you.

I am sorry that you have been out of work for so long, and I hope that
you do well in your venture, but please not here.  Thanks.

Well, we tried.  You won't sell much here because most resent the sales
pitches, and I know of at least a few who will see if they can get you
TOS-ed. If you're an IT guy, you know that one on-topic product
_announcement_ is OK, but continued pitches are abusive.  I hope that you
have enough character to respect that.  After all, you're smart enough to
know what this group is for, and it isn't for ads.

Speaking of being an IT pro, why are you posting in HTML here?

Yes, we discuss drugs, and even air cleaners, because we have no
financial interest in them.  We are trying to help, and you came to
sell.  Don't you see the difference?  We do.

I haven't made any personal attacks on you--just asked you not to post
ads in a support group.  Your trying to pretend that you haven't, with
bogus definitions of ads is pretty silly.  An ad is a commercial
announcement or appeal.  That's what you've been doing--you're selling
something.

Regarding rules, the most important rule is that when you are selling
anything, first be likeable.  Does anyone here think that he has
accomplished that?

Actually, I was just thinking that between the attitude and
inability to comprehend or communicate well, I think asthma has
little to do with his current situation regarding employment.

I learned; so can he.  This is not a place for selling anything.  If
this guy actually cared about people, he would remove his website from
his sig and say no more about his biz.
