Pollution , Co2 in air, particulate pollution not enough being done

harmful affects till years from now. Sure Obama is better but the guy
smokes, I mean how caring you think he is to stop this poison ? . this
is shameful. Sure its happening around the world too but we are not
even protecting people who are most often exposed and we know the
dangers now , much more then before. We can pinpoint where its
happening, we just have people lie to describe the level of dangers.
Stop coal now, get our govt to protect those most vulnerable including
children..
I have noticed thru these years its getting harder and harder to
breathe., One reason I believe is the percentage of carbon dioxide in
the air keeps going up, the other is pollution that is allowed to kill
people and government not doing enough. I agree the US is not the only
government not doing enough, but I believe we have the power to do
more and we know the consequences but still allow the harm without
mitigating the damages faster and I believe we have the knowledge to
do it now.Instead of spending billions of dollars on agencies to
protect us from terrorists, why do , or did we import so many people
we didn't know could be terrorists. That money could be better spend
updating our military or fighting global warming. Another policy that
mkes no sense, and yet again our media is no where to be found asking
the hard questions. Other questions they don't ask? Why does you stock
go down , when your money shows up in stocks and once your money gets
out they go back up, who is giving al queda money? I have never heard
a reporter ask this obvious question.Ok here is a conversation I had
with someone who believed our ait was bad but not as bad as I thought.
He wanted to know why would a government allow harming people?

You said " Yes the lung association's site did give philly an F for
it's quality of air in fact they gave it an F the last 3 month's, but
the previous 3 month's before that they did not give philly an F and
if they give it an F again next month that does not mean philly has
the worst air in the country in fact they also gave Michigan, Ohio,
Pittsburg, most of the citie's in California an F and other's so if
you want to give fact's give all the fact's not just the one's you
want to give that's just out and out biased" ..... I have to give all
the facts. I wish I had all the facts cause it would even be worse
then what I claim is happening. Your damn lucky someone is trying to
warn you and if you don't believe you will be left with all the smart
people who are staying here right? ? The people who pay taxes and care
about their health are not going to say to themselves, gee the air in
Pittsburgh is just as bad so we better stay here, if they are smart
they are leaving. . Maybe you but not many else. I said I thought it
was worse then just being in the top five So I can live with top three
for worse pollution. Again because ten people commit murder don't mean
the murder someone is on trial for here is not bad.!
I don't understand why other cities having f air makes our city
better? . You keep ignoring the difference with air ratings I pointed
out before and you claimed the sites all say the same thing. I told
you about the link fairview gave and this is the third message you
totally ignored it why is that? I guess you don't want to be shown as
wrong do you? . . If you had compared the airnow.gov ratings for our
air the past 6 days or past year You would see why I said Chicago and
Detroits air was better, I think I know what I am talking about been
comparing the air for 10 years , probably in futile attempt to get
people to notice how few days we get clean air compared to rest of
nation. That part I agree with so far with you though is that ,, to
get to change is almost impossible. . I think I know what I am talking
about. when I said we had more days of above 35 particulate pollution
then every major city in US maybe and only maybe except La. Since I
think damage is done starting at 35 , its in that sense we have the
most days of particulate pollution. We actually have the most days
past 45 which use to be the level moderate was suppose to begin but
the epa mysteriously decided to raise the bar to 50. what a joke.
Again the American Lung association suggested years ago, that people
living here were going to die prematurely for up to two years on
average and then said they urged more studies . I suggest the studies
would show what we know, that we get almost the most asthma and copd
and depression and more then average heart disease and cancers.
Why would the government allow poisoning people? Oh thats simple ,
whats good having around millions of immigrants and excons and blacks
without jobs after they are 50 except being a drain on the gov
payroll.. Actually why would a government allow harm even when its
proven that the type of air produces harm , the real question is to
what extent. not if. They know what coal does, its been shown over and
over again. They have been trying for decades to find ways to reduce
the aftermath but instead of stopping production till they do those
downwind like Philly will continue to get more pollution from that
then most of nation.
I am the one suggesting the extent is beyond bad, its a slow holocaust
and hey your free to stay around and wait for all the happy people
here to stay healthy . How many cities do you know that has sirens
going on every hour, helicopters hoovering looking for criminals,
thousands of shootings, f rated air. the worse footprint for green
house gas or close the most depression the most days without clean
air ..most taxed or close Why do people stay here anyway? they think
we get not too cold or hot weather and are close to the shore and
mountains and NYC and Washington. Its ashame they don't know why they
need jeff now faster then every place else.
I assure you nothing will ever change in Philly. We will never be the
best places to live, we will never have people claiming everything is
great here,,, go to Sperlings and read the comments about Philly. We
will never improve until the quality of life issues improve. one more
thing, you said why would a government take part in a conspiracy to
harm people? Thats a good question. In addition to what I already
stated, that they know what coal and pollution does and don't do much
to mitigate the harm faster. I will ask you this. Why did ex President
Bush sign in legislation that disallowed people and lawyers to sue
energy companies via pollution? The President said so they would deter
bogus claims. I think its because they knew that people would
eventually prove damage and they didn't care anyway to the extent
people could not protect themselves or sue because of it. Our great
free press never played up this at all.
Thus the gov allows people who are in harms way to be murdered slowly
Finally , you said I complained I didn't agree with epa too, well
neither did the Supreme Court. so why should I have to think they are
reliable ? In fact they are the ones citizens should believe since
they are mandated by Congress to protect our envirnoment. and should
be trusted the most and when they are accused of not doing that
enough and its backed up by Supreme Court are you really surprised I
suggest there is a conspiracy?
