you guys are the most thoughtful and loving group of people with whom i've
ever been blessed to be associated! i always loved calling each and every
one of you my family members, because you make me feel so loved and cared
about.

just minutes ago, i heard the carport doorbell feebly ring. "i need to check
the battery", i immediately thought. and there, standing on the otherside of
the 9-light mudroom door, was this sweet looking and tiny young asian woman.
my first thought was, "one of meow's girlfriends? is she looking for meow?"
(meow is my son's heart's desire, whom he's hoping to marry.)

i didn't see the balloons until i opened the door for her. "BALLOONS!!!!
i've never had a balloon bouquet before.", i thought and, "how amazingly
sweet they are!" i must have had a huge or goofy smile on my face, because
the asian woman giggled at me. without a trace of an accent she said,
"they're fun to receive, aren't they?" "oh, yeah. they are. who are they
from?" i asked her, because i wanted to know right away. she giggled again
and told me she didn't know, because she just delivers them, "but you can
read the card and find out. first i need you to sign here."

i couldn't wait to find out who was that sweet and generous, who sent them,
before i even noticed the chocolates attached to the balloon's strings. you
guys . . . for the life of me, i'm so excited and happy i'm almost
speechless (not and easy thing to do to me, to make me feel wordless, as you
already know.LOL). all i can say is "thank you!" and that sooo feels
inadequate in expressing how i really feel. thank you, for the joy you gave
me today, the gifts of the kindness you've always shown me, your loving
generosity and your enormously caring spirit. i'm sooo up there, happily
flying with your balloons!<HUGE smile>

hugs of gratitude for each and every one of you!

I can't take credit for anything for Kate.

My postcard was returned by the USPS "NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED -
UNABLE TO FORWARD."

And I don't believe Kate has moved...she recently was writing about
"This Old House." I copied the address of the Christmas card list.

We need to get an updated address list done. There was a minor error on
mine - 1820 instead of 1830 - but I think I still got most of the
Christmas cards that year. Maybe Donna G would let you know what address
she has. She was kind enough to send me the address and mine worked. Kate
liked my card, so I can only assume it got there. LOL

I would love one! I've decided to keep my diet fairly low residue-low fibe
