First of all, I need prayers for my pregnant dil. She was bleeding today
and my son called me to come over right away. I am only ten minutes away
and he needed somebody to stay with my granddaughter, in case he had to take
his wife to Emergency. The bleeding had slacked off by the time I got
there. His mil and fil were on their way. They took the grandbaby back
with them. Ed called the doctor and he said to keep her in bed and bring
her in on Monday. If it started again, take her to Emergency. My son and
dil are Ed and Sheri.

2. My friend, Adrianna, has her mother in hospice and the nurse there
called Adrianna earlier today to say her mother had taken a turn for the
worse. Adrianna's daughter, Sandra had Adrianna's car because her car was
in the shop. She was trying to reach her daughter and wanted to talk to me
in case she needed a ride in a hurry. She hasn't called back. Her mother's
name is Mary. She is 92, so all Adrianna wants is for her to be comfortable
and no resuscitation. Adrianna needs the prayers right now. She has
arthritis badly and also a shattered elbow, so is in pain most of the time.
She has just moved into a single bedroom apartment in Senior Hud housing, so
is getting that straightened out. She couldn't afford to stay in the other
apartment she shared with her mother without the added income from her
mother.

3. My mother, Helen, scraped her leg but didn't find it until she was
getting ready for bed and then she made it start bleeding and she had to
call me on the intercom (best purchase we ever made). She is also worried
about Sheri and Adrianna, so that didn't help. She is a diabetic,
controlled mostly by medication and diet right now, but still has to be
careful about cuts etc in places she doesn't feel.

Thanks for all the prayers. I pray for all those people who are stuck in
the airports due to the blizzard of 2009.

navy the prayers are going out. How far along is your dil? I bled during
both pregnancies (first trimester) but with bed rest it stopped and with
very little activity i went full term so that I wish for her. The bed rest
does wonders. Good that you were close!

prayers also for Adrianna's mother. It is hard to be a caregiver to a
parent when you are in pain yourself. Many changes but hopefully her mom is
comfortable and goes peacefully if that is the best thing at this time. I
also hope Adrianna is able to cope through all this in as little pain as
possible - a huge prayer I know.

Mostly in all this thank goodness for you! Caregiver for your mom and also
available for your son and his family and tackling your own health problems.
You need all the prayers and hugs you can get. I admire you to no end.

A very merry holiday for you and yours. May the bleeding completely stay
away and your mom and yourself stay healthy as possible.

Thanks so much for the prayers. I'm sure they all worked.
1. dil is better. Bleeding stopped, we will know more after she goes to
see the doctor tomorrow, I think. She is 3 months along and it scared both
of them as her first pregnancy had no complication like that.

2. Adrianna's mother passed away peacefully this afternoon. Adrianna is
doing well since her mother had Alzheimer's and hasn't known her since
September. Please continue prayers for her as she copes with not having her
mother to worry about.

3. Mom's leg is doing alright. She put hydrogen peroxide on it this
afternoon and it looks much better.

Yes, I've had a lot on my shoulders, but thanks for the thoughts, Kelly.
One just goes as one can with the help of God and prayers of friends like
you. God bless.
