Dear friends of Sally, we're planning an informal potluck dinner and prayer
to celebrate her life on Tuesday night from 5-8 pm. The address is 636 Ross
Road, Whitehall, Ohio.
For those who can't make it, please post messages on this wall to be read at
the dinner. With a heavy heart, I yearn to let others know... about what a
great mom she was. It would be great to hear from others about what a great
friend she was.
In lieu of flowers, mom was passionate about supporting cancer research. We
are in the process of setting up a fund in her honor. Information concerning
this will be posted here shortly.
To all, thanks so much for loving my mom.
---------------------
I will try to remember to post the fund information here. Jackie, please
help me remember :)
Thank you all, for caring about and supporting Sally all these years.
Deirdre

Paul just put the info up.

Thank you for being like a Sis to Sally. I know she loved you very much and
thought the world of you. I am so happy the two of you spent time together a
few months ago. Hopefully those memories will comfort you during these sad
times. (((((Deirdre)))))
Love,
Jackie

Listen, everybody: you never EVER know when this is going to happen to you.
Memorize the faces and voices and laughter of the people you care about.
Remember to thank them for every single thing they do for you, give to you,
hope for you. Tell them you love them. When you part from their company,
make it as warm and heartfelt as you would if you knew this was the last
time you'd see them. Because it just might be.
Here is a copy/paste of the end of my last IM conversation I had with Sally:
Sally: I'm going to bed no. slightly sick.
Me: I hope you feel lots better tomorrow sweetie
Me: love you
Sally: love you too. Will talk later.
Me: ok... goodnight
Sally: night.
That was about 24 hours before she died. I didn't hear from her all the
next day, and I sent a message "Are you there?" but there was no reply.
First thing the next morning I got the news.
You never know when they will go. Love them like crazy NOW.
